The press being dishonest and favoring a political party in its coverage is absolutely unAmerican.
Hell, I'd say the president pointing out the lies of the press and demanding truth is about as American as you can get.

It's like these people have never taken an American history course. In the beginning of the Republic politicians routinely denounced the newspapers that were published by their political rivals. Denouncing media you disagree with is as American as it comes.
