He became transgendered only after he was discharged.

Perfect example of how the study of history is simply politics. Anyone who thinks Trump "perfectly matches the rise of the Fascists and the Nazis" is either completely ignorant, which this Yale historian ostensibly is not, so ate up with political bias that they cannot think objectively, or deliberately manipulating comparative historical analysis to serve their own contemporary political ends.
This is a PERFECT example of credentials and education meaning jack shite when it comes to political objectivity, critical thought, and truth.
