Trumps Flip on Ukraine. Is it Permanent?

He was ardently against the war a few months back. Remember his impassioned appeals for peace and promise that he would stop the war on "day one" ?
Then he floated the silly "loan deal" which Lindsey Graham siezed hold of, showering Trump with praise and for his brilliant out of the box thinking. Then of course you have the full throated endorsement of Mike Johnson just prior to the latest developments.
Trump never explained how loans vs gifts would "stop all the dying."
I don't think a Ukraine loss prior to November would exactly help Biden. But I do think that a total collapse would be blamed on MAGA and Trump.
Does he feel like this pivotal might consolidate the GOP base, and bring the RINO Warhawks wing back in? Does he feel like his anti forever wars supporters will hang tough, having no real choice?
And the most interesting question is, what does he do if elected. It seems clear the "Peace Now" sentiment is off the table. Trump will never stop this war.
Regardless, Britain and the US are not going to accept defeat, ever. I truly believe they indirectly sanctioned the attack in Moscow that resulted in the murder of all those civilians. They certainly knew about it beforehand.
If they are willing to do that, they will do anything.
Trump knows this.
If Trump wouldn't pardon Assange or release ALL the JFK papers, he will never ever stop this CIA war. TRUMP will not stop the War during his second term.

He wants to be re-elected, simple as that. It also doesn’t hurt when a crazy SOB is in charge here, when it comes to other countries/terrorist organizations. Maybe they think twice before doing something, unlike President Biden.

I'm not happy about what went down, but I think that's what Pompeo said to Johnson and Trump was advised -- that MAGA world would be blamed for Ukraine's collapse if it happened this year.

Kiss his MAGA arse for some, or despise everything about him. I’m not the only one caught in the middle when it comes to family and friends. We can’t have common sense at the top, that’s why it went from one crazy to another flavor of crazy.
