President-elect Donald J. Trump’s “biggest regret” is endorsing Senator John McCain for re-election in 2016, according to a highly-placed source familiar with the Trump transition team’s private conversations.

The anonymous source told GotNews that President-elect Trump regrets endorsing McCain more than anything else because McCain is “so opposed” to Trump and his policies.

John McCain is the senior Senator from Arizona and a two-time failed presidential candidate. He was challenged in the Republican senatorial primaries in 2016 by Dr. Kelli Ward, but managed to survive.

Trump caused Toyota to lose 1.4 billion dollars in the stock market because of a reckless and factually incorrect tweet.

Trump caused Ford to lose money as well on a reckless and factually incorrect tweet

Trump personally attacked a well like union leader in a reckless and factually inaccurate tweet.

Trump prefers Julian Assange and disparages the work of our intelligence community...reckless.

Is keep Monica Crowley on board as a National Security advisor even though she has been caught red handed plagiarizing the work of others for what Trump called her 'manifesto'...reckless.

He hired Paul Manafort...reckless

Allow me.

More countries should have nuclear weapons. (Er, excuse me, "the nuclear.")

No inkling of what the nuclear triad is.

Skipping intel briefings. ("Wreckless" disregard by not being informed?)

You're just making this crap up as you go, and you know it.

If not, what is the basis supporting those claims?

The fact that McCain got the GOP nomination back in 2008 just proves what a mess the GOP has been for the past 8 years. Thankfully Trump gave the GOP a slap upside the head. Hopefully the majority of them have learned their lesson, although apparently McCain, Graham, and Rubio haven't.
