someone who is so hated by half the country

Your premise is completely wrong. He’s hated by a small, vocal minority of the population that gets echoed on a chamber enough that lemmings like you believe Biden got more votes than black Jesus out of hatred for the other guy.

Spend your energy ensuring election integrity and watch what the outcome is.

That isn't what the data show.

Ignore the polls and look at actual election results in key battlegrounds since 2020. They have all favored the Democrats. The same will happen in 2024 -- Biden wins going away.

nteresting. Makes sense. But doesn’t that also mean he has the most votes against?

Shhh, we don't talk about that.

The whole "most votes ever" or "first president to gain votes and lose" angle is such a bizarre, meaningless metric to try to latch on to. I don't pretend to understand it.

Its really bizarre. Maybe after Trump loses in November he will run again in 2028. Think of how many votes he would have!!!!!!

So you cant name one person and give a rationale reason on why they would win?

Any of the ones you mentioned would beat Biden in a fair election. I’m not endorsing Scott or Haley by any means but simply having a functioning, speaking human being who half the country doesn’t despise in an extra special way and doesn’t look like they’re going to die next to Biden would go a long way.

Unfortunately we have a shitshow primary debate system where our best thinkers in Vivek and Ron get reduced to sound bites in a crowded room and an electorate that’s more worried about Trump getting another turn.

So we’re likely going to get weekend at Bernie’s 2.

If you truly believe there will be cheating/tampering/illegal voting then you almost have to assume there's very little chance of a Trump victory.

It's about the level of cheating and illegal voting.

Trump was -7.2 going into the 2020 election versus Biden. The level of cheating for Biden in 2020 was off the charts and Biden still barely won.

Trump was -3.2 going into 2016 election versus Hillary. Trump won handedly.

There will be cheating in 2024. But as long as Trump is running neck and neck and leading in the battle ground states I don't believe the Democrats can cheat enough to overcome Trump's lead in 2024.

These two statements contradict each other. Trump was able to thread the electoral college needle and beat Hillary in 2016 by about 75,000 total votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Electoral score was Trump 304 Hillary 227.

In 2020 Biden was able to beat Trump by about 90,000 votes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin (Biden didn't even need Georgia or Arizona or Nevada)
Electoral score was Biden 306 Trump 232.

So, if Trump won handedly in 2016 then Biden won handedly in 2020. Can't have it any other way.

I didn't put much stock in polling when the UGA dude was posting every 6 hours, and I don't really now. But:

- The absence of celebratory poll posting has been obvious

- I think it was pretty inevitable that even if Trump did have a 6 point lead it would tighten as the race constricted.

No. I said it is irrelevant because he lost. Only an idiot would prop up a statistic like that for someone who lost. It’s fricking stupid and meaningless. You are the one trying to spin Trump's loss in 2020 to a 'win' by saying he has the MoSt VoTEes EvEr!!!!!!!!!!! like it fricking matters

They are historical independent events at specific times. They don't contradict each other.

In 2020, Trump lost GA, AZ and WI by ~42,500 votes. If those three states were in Trump's column there would have been a 269 tie.

Of course, he's probably just fine winning that point on a technicality, even if it is a completely worthless point. You have to give him credit for that.
