I believe he is going to sign whatever bill gets to his desk and then will declare it "wonderful", "beautifuL, ect.

If McConnell passes a bill with the democrats Trump will pressure the House to pass and then will sign it.

It will be huge!! Huge in the money it funnels to insurance companies and health providers.

Trump just wants to declare a victory and move on. He has a bunch of dems around him now--including Kelly and his daughter--and we will not see smaller government.

You johnny come lately conservatives have no idea what a small government conservative is.

No one with any critical thinking skills could possibly consider I B Freeman a democrat.

This would have happened with any other Republican candidate minus Rand or Cruz. However Rand or Cruz never stood a chance of winning in the general election.

It always has been and always continue to be up to the House to stop this nonsense.

At least we get strong immigration policy with Trump.

Overall, I like Trump and while I hate his deficiencies, I feel he is FAR superior to Hillary and the GOPe sell-outs in Congress. That said, my biggest fear is that you're right that he'd sign some terrible bill just to get a win. Hopefully that doesn't happen but I'm definitely worried about it.

It'll probably be done so the Dems will vote for the next debt ceiling increase. Trump will say he had to make the deal.

This is not a bad thing, first of all.

Sure, we have our ideals as conservatives. But unlike democrats, we understand that what's best for the country as a whole actually lies somewhere in the middle ground. Compromise is not a bad thing as long as it goes both ways.

Oh BS.

Subsidizing private businesses with taxpayer money is a bad thing. We do it in a lot of areas but it is wrong. Bad, immoral policies are not good just because they were arrived through compromise.

Neither side is saying health care vouchers to the citizens. Why is that? it is because the citizens are not lining their pocket.

Oh you mean like the conservatives who are globalists..... which isnt conservative at all. You know the ones. Kasich, the Bush family, McCain, Thad Cochran, sissy pants from SC.

Fact is you are the one that has no idea what a conservative is.

they will say winning.

There is nothing to pass though. The democrats don't have a solution either, just some patches to obamacare.

It could get through the house but not the senate IMHO.

Explain it to me Jjdoc.

Trump is no conservative.

I never said Bush, Kasich, McCain or certainly not the pork king Cochran was a conservative.

OP thinks Kelly is a dem? Where does this thinking come from?

Seems to me he's done an excellent job at every post he's been given and ran DHS just the way any true conservative would want.
