The Republican party and conservatives have been championing free trade for decades.

All the cheep goods at Walmart made in other countries? Well that just makes affordable goods to the American consumer.

Now Trump wants to tax and tariff the shite out of imports.

So are you for free trade or not?

(I predict a lot of excuses and back-tracking and hypocrisy to follow.)

I'm for free trade but it has to be slanted in our favor, not the other side.

Yes, if that "free trade" respects domestic borders.

Free trade has morphed into unfair trade over the years. I'm for fair trade. An adjustment is needed.

If you had bothered to listen to President TRUMP he's already explained this several times already.

We don't have free trade. Other countries trade their goods freely into our country but tax and tariff all of our exports into their countries heavily.

What we want is Fair Trade! America First!

Yes, but i don't like the dogmatic approach of the Republican Party and libertarian party

We're over regulated and over taxed, and they dont even consider that. Nope, I'm for free trade, so I support TPP.

They don't consider the partner, the benefits and the costs...just frick it. I'm for free trade

There is no such thing as "free" trade. There are tariffs on everything that are imposed because of lobbying from big business.

They just get you with that trigger word "free"

What is free trade? And could you cite some examples where it exists, and functions efficiently?
