I directly challenged the premise of his thread. I don’t think what Trump said makes a material difference in his legal cases, and I don’t think simply being a lawyer is a good enough reason to convince me that it does.

If I want to hear someone picking apart every word that Trump says, I would simply turn on the TV, and could have for the past 8 years. The bots still don’t understand that strategy has already been used.

Who said it was controversial? Whether it is smart or catastrophic to his case has a pretty big distinction, and I think the OP was a pretty blatant attempt to blur those lines. “Lots of lawyers are talking about it” is meaningless, that’s all lawyers do.
