And for some reason Trump cannot realize the age old political move of deflecting. He just sits there and lets people keep throwing darts at him.
The best defense is a good offence.
He should direct Sessions (or his replacement if he is on his way out), to launch investigations into Obama, Hillary, Eric Holder, Susan Rice, and Loretta Lynch. Let the MSM and the demotards froth at the mouth about that for a while.
Not really a wag the dog situation, because all those people need to be thoroughly investigated. If you turn the light onto them the roaches will really scatter.
