The Trump administration’s transition team for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is planning major budget cuts, as well as regulatory and scientific overhauls at the agency.

The team’s “Action Plan” for the EPA identifies more than $800 million in planned budget cuts, including to state and tribal assistance grants, climate programs and environmental programs and management, according to Axios.

Well, to be fair, now that the EPA isn't going to be regulating every puddle that accumulates after a rain storm, they really don't need that billion. In fact, let's make it $10 billion!

Conservatively it will kill 250,000 fish, 25,000 deer, 1,700 squirrels, 54,000 trees, and 45 humans.

Libs will say he's gutting the EPA and hates the planet. The fact is that there is so much bloat in these agencies that he could cut $2B and if the services are streamlined there will be no services cut.

Hopefully, Trump opens up drilling off of the Florida panhandle with little ability for federal oversight. That would be a nice prize for that area's support of his candidacy.

The 45 human predicted deaths were from them eating toxic animals and plants due to the lack of EPA regulations. Don't be the stat!

I would rather see the funds taken from other sources, but if we are ever going to make a dent in our annual deficits we have to start somewhere.
