Bipartisan donald is happenings, folks.

quote:

President Trump was "open" to the idea of a bipartisan ObamaCare stabilization bill but did not make any commitments during a meeting Wednesday with a group of House lawmakers, attendees said.

The bipartisan group of lawmakers, known as the Problem Solvers, pitched Trump on their plan to stabilize ObamaCare markets.

"He was clearly open to it, intrigued," said Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.), a co-chair of the group.

He's putting country before politics. Something is better than nothing.

Republicans lost the healthcare battle, might as well chalk up the loss, clean up Obama care and move on.

Until you get 50 more Rand Paul's in the senate there will never be a conservative health care solution.

I'm old enough to remember when the Republicans on the board said, Obamacare was beyond "fixing".

The "fix" better be completely scrapping it and starting over, but they can still call it the ACA or Obamacare or whatever.

The Democrats are emotionally attached to it since it's Obama's legislative legacy.

In other words I hope they plan on fully replacing it but pretending like they are just fixing it, allowing the Democrats to declare they "saved" it.

It will hopefully be the equivalent of demolishing a house to the foundation then rebuilding it from scratch and it just has the same street address afterwards.

The plan is to throw more taxpayer money at it. That always works. Just fire up the money trees.

Republicans - our way - we don't have the votes

Democrats - our way - we don't have the votes

Bernie - free for everyone - I don't have the votes

Now, what would you suggest other than your attempted gotcha moment?

It is

Rational people want to get off the train headed for the cliff

Republicans were the ones who needed to turn the train. They refused.

Confronted with the realty that none of the dumb assess plan to turn the train, it would be prudent to at least stop accelerating

By reform you mean to throw into the trash and repeal?

It makes no sense that the same Trump supporters who called Ryan, McConnel, Kasich moderate cucks and have never said a single positive thing about Pelosi/Schumer are now praising Trump for bringing to fruition the exact opppsite of what he campaigned on.

It's not that but Republicans can't agree on shite and we had our shot. Now just fix the MFer as it is killing families like mine. I am beyond disappointed in the GOP but for f*** sake fix the problem if we can't repeal. This is not about political points for 10 more years. You wanna blame someone go find Susan F$&@&&$ Collins or John not dead yet McCain

The dems would have helped fix it all this time. You "killed" your own family and families like yours by consenting to right wing obstruction.

You hold the House and grow majority in Senate?

That's the most viable option.
