Congress should oppose any effort to recognize homosexual’s as a "discreet and insular minority" entitled to the protection of anti-discrimination laws similar to those extended to women and ethnic minorities.

This is the only item that you brought up that doesn't have to do with marriage. And it only talks about making homosexuality a "minority" category.

Bottom line is that gay marriage is a state's issue and his state voted for him to where he is today. Trump will not go after gay right and/or gay marriage. Book mark this thread and if I am wrong, I will acknowledge it.

Not technically, but how do you extend benefits to some and not others. That is discrimination.

Any and all polls, exit polls included, used in this election cycle are useless.

None of these polls should be used as the base of any argument.

why do you care? what is the obsession with gay people? what does it matter? why is it your business?

look, I'll be perfectly candid, i have a physical reaction when I see two men kiss, and it is not a positive one, but that's my issue, not theirs. just because i dont like something doesn't mean it should be illegal.

people on this board say over and over and over again that they don't want the anyone telling them how to live their life, so why is it ok for you to tell other people how to love theirs.

yeah i was pretty bigoted when i grew up in Louisiana too. then i moved and actually met and worked with gay people and other minorities and oh guess what; they're perfectly normal people who just want to be left alone to live their life as they choose.

people here should actually be defending them and fighting for their right to be left alone because you'd actually be defending yourself. isn't that what you want, the freedom to live your life as you see fit, to make your own decisions and choices for you and your family?

His VP choice's backwards stance on gay rights may explain the lack of support.

Exit polls were worthless and wrong about the states. Why should we put much stock in them?

Exit polls didn't predict anything about the states. They're valuable to tell you how people voted AFTER they've already voted.
