Trump was broke and needed to convert the property into a private club to generate cash. The city agreed to allow it, if Trump agreed that no one would ever live there full time.

Question Hank, it is a private club so what would he stopping Trump from saying it’s like a country club neighborhood situation and he’s claiming the property as his residence (assuming he would say cut out a lot or two for others to build there)
