If Democrats were smart they'd hammer on this for a while until Trump made some other dumb statement without evidence
But, I think they're gonna ride the Russia angle and wear that out instead.

Trump made a claim, can't back it up
Intelligence communities deny claim.
Trump never apologies.
His fans adore him anyway.
Democrats made a claim, can't seem to back it up.
Intelligence communities waffle on claim.
Democrats never quit bitching about it.
Democrats hate Trump anyway.
Dumb partisan politics. I'm not gonna play their game anymore. They want us mad at each other. frick them.

apologize for what? how can one determine no evidence of collusion in the absence of surveillance. is easy to say 'we are simply monitoring foreign governments' while monitoring our own people...how does one do one without the other?
