You forgot to mention the liberal hold over academia in America. The liberals are doing their best to brainwash the youth in America. It's quite apparent you are one of the brainwashed. If any group in America is authoritarian, it is the liberals who think the government should have control over everyone's life.
My friend's son thinks he is sexist because he asks his wife for backrubs. That is what is being taught in modern American schools by you dumbass liberals. Anything a woman does for a man is now viewed as misogynistic & taboo. At least try to not be seen as the blatant hypocrite you are.

I doubt he did much to turn around the 12-16 years of brainwashing they get in the public education system. At least this was voluntary on their part.
However, I saw only a very few minutes of his address and through it was too political for the occasion. If it was all like that, he was out of line.
Since Reagan, we have had 16 years of hard-core left wing radical propaganda emanating from the White House from DEM PoTUS, and 12 years of statesmanship, straight down the middle non-partisan administration coming from GOP PoTUS. Our youth has drifted way off track rejecting self-responsibility under that siege so someone has to issue a call for a return to normal American tradition.
I think we are at a crisis point and unusual tactics are required to save us from 50 years of deliberate undermining our national character.
I don't like it, but I understand it.

Of course Obama was boo'd, he got scouts kicked out of public schools, municipal buildings, and military bases; snubbed speaking to them twice; and used the IRS to bully them into accepting gay scout masters which got them kicked out of most churches. If there's anyone scouts should hate it's Barack Obama. He really took a sledgehammer to the BSA in a big way.
