I don't see why we can't have good relations with Russia. We'll never be best friends, but we can at least work together to get some shite done.

WE have had World Wars with countries we call friends today. We have never went to actual war with Russia. Why can't we get along and make this World a better place?

Even if the leaders say nice things about each other in front of the cameras, behind the scenes Russia is always plotting to increase their influence, and the U.S. is always plotting to try to stop them.

Reagan didnt like the Russians, but he demanded and earned their respect. I think that is what Trump is saying. We can work together with them on some things that are in both our interest, but we are not going to let them bully our allies and push us around. If the dems were so concerned why didnt Ears put his foot up Putins arse when he invaded Ukraine.

Yet we've gone to total war with nations we consider very close allies, like Britain, Germany and Japan. Why can't we build a good realtionship with a country who at worst has fought us in a cold war?
