Trump is more interested in a "win", than what's in the bill

We all know that already don't we? He's already shown this by lying that no one would lose coverage under Trumpcare and that he would not cut Medicaid.

WASHINGTON — President Trump, the author of “The Art of the Deal,” has been projecting his usual bravado in public this week about the prospects of repealing the Affordable Care Act. Privately he is grappling with rare bouts of self-doubt.
Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan’s plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans.

You will thank Trump for saving you

We agree. He's reminding me of Obama and pelosi in 2010. Just get it through.

You have to pass it to see what's in it. Amirite?

This was a terrible mistake IMO.

Your irrational hatred of Trump and unusual definition of "lies" makes it impossible to have a normal discussion. However, I will agree that Trump doesn't seem to have any principles behind the healthcare reform -- other than it is an ObamaCare repeal.

If it fails the left calls him a failure. If it passes they call him an idiot
Just think if anyone worked together
It is being held up because the freedom folks want to gut it and this bill doesn't go far enough. The left should get behind it to save what they can. But they are too dumb to see

I wouldn't say hatred of Trump is irrational. He brings it on himself by being a loud mouthed ignoramous.
If he would stop talking shite constantly and focus on his job he would be a lot easier to stomach.
He's the president. Not a talk show host.

Agreed, but not for your reasoning. I don't buy your "24 million" number, considering you people couldn't count the numbers insured accurately under Obamacare. I mean, you counted people that were kicked off their existing insurance and forced onto Obamcare as a gain? That's gorilla math.
Just like the Obama stimulus counting of jobs. The sale of 1 lawnmower equated to 27 jobs saved or added. It's ridiculous and nonsensical.

He may be brash and use words loosely (e.g. wiretap instead of illegal surveillance) but no rational person would say he is stupid. Regardless, it takes a special person to withstand the unending character attacks from the left on anyone who doesn't blindly accept their intellectually-dishonest claptrap.

Once again you've come up with some BS thread title that has nothing to do with the substance of the article you linked.
The article (without sources I might add) only states that he privately wishes that he had pushed for tax reform before healthcare reform. Not that he regrets either. Certainly not that he is only in it for the win. The quoted "win" from your thread title is only mentioned once in the article and is only a slanted opinionated statement with absolutely zero evidence to back it up.
Why don't you do us all a favor and go back to that rock under which you live?
