Well, that's definitely an impeachable offense.

Geez, a lot of the times after I make a post I discover I made an accidental grammar mistake, a letter in a word that I spelled correctly was missing or there was a space where I didn't expect a space to be so I edit my post to correct the mistakes.

Even after trying to correct the mistake, I still sometimes spell it wrong.

Next you'll be saying I committed treason because I tried to correct the mistake but still spelled it wrong.

You have 3 24 hr political opinion networks that have to fill that time with something. Every issue is gonna be blown out of proportion by them no matter who the president is. They need ratings and crap to talk about.

He needs thicker skin.

What happened to Sessions wasn't some run of the mill gossip about the admin on the networks, it was basically a loud and proud accusation of treason against his own Attorney General backed by senior democrat leadership.

Trump is not Bush 43 who just took abuse from media and democrats without contest and pretended it was going to blow over and everything would be all right.

On the bright side, at least he doesn't belong to the party that believes it is OK to us the government to suppress and spy on its opponents with supporters why actually cheer it taking place.

frick liberals. May they die in a fire. If they're on with this shite, they have found their brown shirts and need not look at Republicans for them again.

I'm at the point in all of this that I truly believe that if Obama had declared himself emperor there is a significant portion of the population that would've gone right along with it

What world are you on right now by the way?

I'm sick of all politicians.

The problem with politicians, is that the moment you vote in a "non-politician", they become a politician.

I don't mean in the literal sense (though that is also accurate), but no one is able to resist being ground up in the machinations of Washington. "Outsiders" quickly become "Insiders".

The only fix is to make it SMALLER. No side wants that.

Ok, I do not give a shite if he does anything else in his presidency. He just confirmed my vote for him was worth every penny of gas I had to spend to get to the polls. That right there is the best damn thing I have seen in 35 years of following politics and being a conservative!

screw all that thicker skin crap, no hold barred. Put it on them, call them out for the lying, steaming sacks of poop they are...

Seems like you and I want that. Seems like many here want that.

The problem is: What now? How do we vote in people who comply with our wishes.

How do we actually drain the swamp? I actually believe that Trump wants/wanted to do just that then found out he was nearly the only one in DC that agreed.

I want them all exposed. wire tap them all. Hassle all of them all the time. Make it a pain in the arse to be a big gov politician of any stripe.

Give fed gov defense and one or two other roles and tell the states to work together to figure out the rest.

Pipe dream, I know.

Jimmy Carter should be investigated as well for his, as it appears, very close relationship with Leonid Brezhnev.

Extraordinary how the also think they're invisible. No other explanation for it.

Agreed. I'm very much a states' rights Libertarian. Problem is, government has gotten so big, and the side not in power will say, "Let's reduce the power!"

Then they get elected.

And realize that would now mean THEIR power.

Suddenly, there's no interest in reducing the power.

Trump made a lot of mistakes. He put cronies in place in his cabinet. They weren't experts (with the exception of Mattis), just people he liked. Just like every president before him.

Trump may have wanted to drain the swamp before he got there, but nothing has really given a strong indication that he still feels that way.

Trump's fixin to drop a bunker buster on these filthy, stinking Dimmerats. They know the longer he's in office the more trash he's going to find to use against their asses and the swamp will drain like a mutha!

As long as they know with near 100% certainly that you're not going to "go against the team" next cycle, they can do pretty much whatever they want. The House has an approval rating in the teens, yet every 2 years, fewer and fewer districts remain competitive.
