We're going on a month here with NO US ATTORNEYS in the entire country. That means NO ONE is in charge of making federal law enforcement policy at the local level. This is embarrassing amd really not good. GET IT TOGETHER SESSIONS AND TRUMP!

One of the most ignorant statements I've ever read on the Poli Board and that's really saying something....

You need to have real leadership at the US Attorney level. Acting US Attorney can keep the wheels moving but that's it.

Did you really rhink he would implement 45% tariff on china? Thats already in the garbage with the fair valuation of the yuan. Extortion by china to sit on kim jung.

An acting U.S. attorney has the same authority and responsibility as a U.S. attorney and every district has an acting U.S. attorney in place right NOW.

Many times the acting U.S. attorney becomes the appointed U.S. attorney.

Hence, your statement is one of the most ignorant statements I've ever read on the Poli Board.

You really shouldn't keep doubling down on your ignorance shown when you started this thread.

Right.

ETA: So you think an acting U.S. attorney can't enforce federal laws nor can he prosecute violations of federal law? Is that your belief?

No, it's the most important duty of a U.S. attorney.....investigate, arrest and prosecute violators of federal law.

What do you think the most important thing a U.S. attorney is supposed to do which an acting U.S. attorney is not allowed to do?

US attorneys set up task forces and coordinate with local law enforcement to set up district wide enforcement policy. Acting USA can't do that to the same extent and even if they could it wouldn't make sense because of the temporary nature of the position. That is the whole point!
