To me, it appears Trump is developing some serious jealousy over Ron DeSantis and now sees him as a threat.

No other reason to take jabs at him like that.

The gay guy would base his vote on whether or not someone cares for them as opposed to policies

I guess that’s what happens when that’s your entire identity

Trump/DeSantis 2024 followed by 8 years of President DeSantis is the best scenario...

Pure fantasy.

First, article II of the Constitution sets it up so that if the presidential candidate and VP candidate are from the same state, that state's electoral votes may not be cast for them (but they still have to get to 270). Unless one was willing to move (have to be Trump since Desantis will be the governor of Florida), they'd be forfeiting Florida.

LINK

Second, do you really think Desantis could win in 2028 after Trump spends 4 years berating him? He spent 4 years berating nearly everyone in his administration and every political ally the first time; why would this be different? Is Trump going to stump for Ron in 2028? Wouldn't he say, he won't be as GREAT as me, but he'll be pretty good. Gov. Ron would be better served taking him on in the primary and just keeping his powder dry for 2028 if Trump wins the nomination or just sitting 2024 out entirely.

Keep attacking Trump supporters. It'll help you in the long run, I'm sure.

All politicians have a big ego, but DJT is an extreme narcissist. I liked his positions, but he has too much baggage to be re elected.

This really sets him apart from all other politicians. Very astute point. Very discerning. Profound. No, downright epiphanic.

Oof. This is a bad look, Don. And I'm defending you. Maybe DJT is self-destructing.

I mean, these type of statements are pretty regular from him.

Some of the shite he says on Truth Social is fricking batshit crazy.

Trump played his role. He has been treated unfairly. The entire establishment committed a coup against him. But he’s damaged goods at this point.

Lol no he didn’t - I’ve always thought he was an idiot - but he was our idiot - better then their idiot. I’ve never thought that Trump was a savior - he is terribly undisciplined and has cost himself so much. He self owns himself all the time

Even if people think trump is the answer he can only be president for 4 more years and the entire government will oppose him worse than before. He isn’t draining the swamp. He wouldn’t have the power.

We drain the swamp by grass roots efforts to vote out incumbents slowly. It’s a bottom up approach rather than a top down.

Trump was a wrecking ball whose purpose was to tear the roof off and expose the rot within. Now we need a carpenter to strategically replace the rotting wood.

Oh, stop. You trumpettes absolutely believe/believed your Lord & Master could drain the swamp singlehandedly. Stand behind your man, Tammy.

Did no one watch The Apprentice? Despite all the good Trump did during his presidency, that mouth keeps doing him in.

His judgement is and has always been terrible.
It’s one of the reasons DeSantis said Trump had no business being president.
