At this rate he'll never be an effective president; that I can tell you.

He needs better numbers and at least one big W to be able to put pressure on Congress to move his agenda. If his numbers stay where they are, all the Republicans in competitive contests are pretty much going to be concerned first and foremost with making sure there's enough space between them and Trump by the time they're defending their seats in 2018 (seems crazy, but that race is just around the corner).

As the PT chases yet another Trump smokescreen the American people have started to wake up to the fraud in the Oval Office.

That poll used 31% Democrats and 23% Republicans.

Just so we're clear. Some polls are good then?

The ones that practice sound data collection and sampling criteria are.

texag7 wasn't joking.

PARTY IDENTIFICATION
Republican 23%
Democrat 31
Independent 38
Other/DK/NA 8

So about 78 percent (due to rounding) of those polled are liberals, weak-kneed wishy-washy moderates, or downright ignorant voters.

At this point, how are we still talking about polls? It is like Nov 8 never happened.

Exactly.

One caveat: Better numbers will come with one big win.

. . . and FWIW, better numbers will never be accurately indicated in what is basically a Dem+10 poll as is the case with the OP.

And yet it said that the economic outlook was bright in 2007.

...and then 2008 came along.

So much for "outlooks".

Welcome to America. I've been trying to tell the wingnuts on this board that they are a tiny minority of the overall population. Most recent date on party affiliation is

D - 30%
R - 26%
Ind - 42%

His actual approval numbers have him at about 91-93% positive. I expect it to tick up a bit by the weekend.
