How (other than obtaining a fake ID and passport,etc) would one be a FAKE American? 
One may be a 'phony conservative' or a 'pretend liberal'. But, isn't the ESSENCE of being "American" the right to publicly disagree with your leaders?
I'm just confused about the term "fake American"
ETA: Also, having a different idea about the direction the country should go (even if it is 'TERRIBLE' idea) is very American.
