Trump closed his eyes and hoped he was dealing with rational and reasonable people, even though they were the same assholes behind everything from the climate change hoax to the racism hoax, and even all the fake shite they ran on Trump (Russia, good people on both sides, the impeachments).

Sorry I don’t think it reasonable and rational to hold basically the one person legitimately trying to save the country while letting the deep state saboteurs off the hook which is what you appear to be doing.

That’s mighty convenient for you. And also stupid. Nowhere do I let the saboteurs off the hook. I think they should be in prison for their role in the disaster, but this thread isn’t about them.

There was bad data, bad informarion. Is it possible that one of those souls that made a determination was acting with a conscience. Id like to think so.
Was Draconian action justified - no. The enemy is THOSE people. The ones that used the excuse of a disease to INSTITUTE targetted PERSECUTION of people they disliked for POLITICAL reasons.
The enemy is not the kind souls that attempted to provide us all with harm reduction. There is a significant difference.
