Do you consider your typing ability below or above 5th grade on average?

Eta: I am not the one claiming stingrays have never been used. Do a simple google search and you'll find no shortage of cases where the DA had to withdraw their case because of warrantless surveillance with stingrays used by officers in the field. You can think whatever suits your intellect, though.

If you really need to be spoon fed I can list them for you. Let me know.

Well, that was easy. I didn't have to look beyond my own city: LINK

quote:

The Tacoma Police Department apparently has bought — and quietly used for six years — controversial surveillance equipment that can sweep up records of every cellphone call, text message and data transfer up to a half a mile away.

You don’t have to be a criminal to be caught in this law enforcement snare. You just have to be near one and use a cellphone.

Known as Stingray, the device — small enough to be carried in a car — tricks cellphones into thinking it’s a cell tower and draws in their information.

News that the city was using the surveillance equipment surprised City Council members, who approved an update for a device last year, and prosecutors, defense attorneys and even judges, who in court deal with evidence gathered using the surveillance equipment.

it's really easy to pretend to be a libertarian when you're just opposing the current administration. turns out they're all authoritarian AF

Im still here.

Latest political quiz had me at 86% libertarian. I would score higher but I get major deductions for my isolationist/protectionist views on foreign trade based on other countries not following the same rules we do(currency manipulation, lack of labor laws, etc).

isn't it funny that where you bold a sentence can change it so dramatically

The current environment calls for it, sorry.
It is a completely rational move, the left is in open rebellion.

Well, that fricking sucks.

This is Trumps big gaffe frankly...because it will just encourage Antifa and liberals declaring America a fascist state.

And frankly our police forces being militarized has been one of the main problems we face as a society the last 25 years.

The minute you militarize the police, they start acting like the military...and Americans feel like they are being occupied by a force that treats citizens as the enemy.
