Trump ends hiring freeze, hooray?

Hiring freeze is never meant to be permanent dumbass. You shrink the size of the nanny state through attrition naturally.

I am for shrinking the federal government. And phasing in cuts is the way to do it. You have to do it over years.
The point is; once again, Trump declares a, ends up doing b. Presidents are supposed to put a little thought into their initiatives. It shows he doesn't know what the hell hes doing.

Looks to me like he's doing exactly what he said he would, and doing it well. He implemented the hiring freeze to show everyone what can happen if they don't spend smarter and adhere to his plan.

Only a libtard like awant would describe this as a failure. Trump put a freeze on hiring, assessed the situation, and found a smarter way to accomplish his goal of shrinking the workforce. Just ask Jindal what long-term freezes do.

Kind of out of context; Carter & Reagan both initiated hiring freezes when assuming office. BHO had various freezes while in office. Trump's freeze was given an end date in the EO,it was never meant to be permanent.
