Ahh, I see. I'm not stupid, so I must be liberal. Nay, I am a Republican-voting conservative independent who is calling the Trump era as he sees it. You, on the other hand, are simply calling names and have no material.

This isn't the biggest deal in the world, obviously, but still I prefer that Trump respect the office a little more by upholding traditions such as this one. The Founders encouraged Washington to accept his salary as if he were a man who needed the paycheck; the idea that a regular Joe who needs to be paid for his work could be President is a very American ideal, and Trump shortchanges it by doing this. Just my opinion. Nothing wrong with disagreeing here.
