Maybe. Let's judge people by actions not words.
When dust settles, then we will have a clearer picture.

This is pretty short sighted. He is on the brink of getting dems to sign off on all of his jingoist immigration and border crap -sans wall- (which they were never going to vote for anyway) in exchange for DACA done legally.
That's 10X's more on immigration than GOPe could have ever accomplished WITHOUT dems voting for it.

While I agree with your sentiment.... No. Trump loses NOTHING. The only way he can possibly lose anything at all is if republicans put up someone to run against him in 2020. No one who voted Trump will suddenly pull the lever for E Warren, or any other batshit crazy loon the democrats decide to nominate.

I disagree. Immigration and protecting the American worker brought out people who never voted before and who had never voted GOP.
He loses that support, and wins no Democrat support because the media and the Dems will make it look like they stood up to Trump and won for DACA.
It's a lose/lose, the way he handled this.

No, he didn't. DACA never should have been enacted. He's forcing Congress to do their fricking job.

He loses much of his base with amnesty
Minutes ago Trump said there would be no amnesty.
DACA was obama's way of saying "frick you" to congress and the constitution. Trump is putting the onus back on congress to arrive at a solution.
