Does it take effort to come across as stupid as you come across or do you just stumble into it daily?

Trump could not have obstructed. FBI investigations aren't "proceedings" under the Code. You are ignorant.

Interesting take. So you are saying Mueller, most Dems in Congress, and anyone else who is somebody is ignorant?

How many links would you like me to post to prove my point here that obstruction is what they are going for...5 or 10? or 15?

(If you pick a lower number I would assume you are confident that I am alone in my assertion that obstruction is a non-starter...and you are right, I am ignorant of the ‘code’. But what would it make you if I found at least 5 links of ‘professionals’ ((like yourself)) calling this obstruction?)

Not my take. Your issue is with the US Attorney's Manual. You should check it out. Section 1727.

Here. Let me help you out. US Attorney Manual

quote:

Investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation are not section 1505 proceedings

You were saying?

My ‘take’ is not with the U.S. Attorney’s manual. And I appreciate you quoting the guide for prosecutors on how to charge criminals.

But let’s say Mueller sticks to that guide, and as you inferred, ‘FBI investigations aren’t covered under 1505 status’.

I’m pretty sure it would still be covered as obstruction of justice since congressional hearings into Russia’s meddling in US elections, and a possible grand jury had already been convened.

So wouldn’t Trump firing Comey for his obviously stated reasons be obstruction in at least those two cases?

Your move

How would Trump firing Comey obstruct non-FBI investigations? That makes no sense.

Mercer>SEAlabama>Troy>LSU>Syracuse>Clemson>Auburn>Mercer

So Mercer is greater than Mercer.
Come on Revelator. You know this is not how the world really works.

So no jail time for current administration officials sadly.

Why sadly? They've done nothing wrong. Surely you wouldn't want to jail them simply for being part of Trump's administration, right?
