He doesn't have to. Once the new Sec of DOJ is installed, THEY will go after Hillary. He did say in the campaign that he would appoint a special prosecutor. He can't do that until he takes office.

I think what he's saying is that there are so many issues important to the people right now that he can get to work on. The nastiest presidential campaign just ended. It's important to unify and try to bring together the country rather than essentially continue the campaign. He should, however, clean house in the DOJ and FBI and have them do their jobs the right way.

The FBI will be. Trump would cause a huge outlash from the media right now if he said he was. They're already foaming at the mouth for any little thing.

Then what did he say? He certainly implied that he doesn't want to go after her. Pretty sure he even flat out said he doesn't want to punish her because they're good people

It really is the job of the FBI to investigate....also a good time for Trump to keep his thoughts close to his vest. Much the same as telling an enemy your plans is a dumb tactic.

I get the fact that he needs to tone it down -- but the majority of his campaign was based on taking down the establishment. How can you be for taking the down the establishment and not going after Hillary?
