Why? Probably 60% of Americans are functioning retards, who among other things vote solely on party. In this case that has been amplified because "it was her turn"
I'd love to see a poll that didn't include CA or NY as I've a feeling the VAST majority of people who approve of impeachment without any legal basis are from one of those two states, which of course have the population to skew any national poll.

18 U.S.C. § 1503 SPECIFICALLY applies to JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS, which an FBI investigation is NOT .
Now some states have slightly different laws that include police investigations, but they do not apply here, the ONLY applicable law is 18 USC 1503 and as has plainly been pointed out to you , an FBI investigation does not qualify.

The President can shut down ANY federal investigation he wants, even if that requires firing the FBI Director, even if that requires firing his Attorney General.
Once exception, special counsels, because they do not serve at the pleasure of the President.
