That goes for all of their protected classes. The only thing worse than a straight white male is someone in their protected classes who votes Republican. That can be a gay conservative, black conservative, woman conservative, etc. Just look at the absolute hatred they have for Palin, Ben Carson, Milo, etc.

No. That's not it at all. They're just viewed by a lot as having mental issues or at least a little disdain to support a party that has an extremely well documented history of fighting any attempt to accept or fight for gay equality on many fronts. Remember Karl rove's strategy in 2004? DADT? And of course more recently the fight for marriage equality.
Of course the Democrats had an abysmal record as well in past but that was a lifetime ago in the gay rights context.

Well, there are really only 2 angles here.
1. They're so hysterical in their hate for Trump that they forget that Trump is the most gay-friendly Republican ever to hold the office. He is, at worst, apathetic to their cause and doesn't really give a shite one way or the other.
2. They want Pence in office so they can manipulate and bully him like they do every other traditional politician.
