It's not a waste if they like it. Steak can be bland.

The way some "purists" insist on things, you are right. Some will tell you to just use a little salt and pepper.

I realize it's a "canned" product, but I crust mine up in Montreal Steak and let it sit out on the counter "wrapped" for a couple of hours. Then sear the hell out of it, let it rest a few minutes, and cut in into reddish pink goodness.

Trump should now demand all of his steaks to be cooked in boiling water in order to rustle jimmies to ever greater degrees.

What do you think. Pretty much crossed the line with the "jimmies" comment?

To each his own but talk about ruining a good steak.

I like mine medium rare, no steak sauce. I ate dinner with a couple guys that work with us and one ordered his rare as shite. He went on to say he couldn't stand it cooked because as he grew up his grandfather worked as a beef inspector for the FDA and they always would eat raw beef right off a cow because they knew it wasn't contaminated.

This is a man who cannot get enough of gold leaf....whose penthouse looks like something Sadam Hussain would build. Is it any surprise he puts ketchup on his steak?

Nothing wrong with canned products.

The horrible thing about the explosion of cable products was the damn food networks. Now every hipster thinks the are Anthony Bordain or Alton Brown.

Aged steak... Should be rare. Especially.

But it's all taste. And time of eating....I knew people who grew up during the Depression and wanted everything scorched because of experience...Didn't trust anything not fully cooked.

But you would think Trump didn't have to worry about eating sketchy food during his life.

This is one area I just don't understand. Why would you ever order a filet well done?

Not that it matters but it was not a filet it was New York Strip. Why would you order that if you could get a ribeye?

I've ordered one medium well and it was still damn near bloody. Next trip there, I ordered it well done and it was perfect medium well. I like it pink, not bloody.

Steaks aren't bloody.
