Oh come now Trey. Main stream media and local police are saying "lone wolf". And many on Tiger Rant are saying anyone who believes in "conspiracies " of any kind or a government underworld are kooks, tin hats, deplorable ignorant fools and should be only following the CNN narratives.

“It’s an incredible level of premeditation that you don’t ordinarily see,” Gowdy said. “And it is difficult to believe that a single person could have done this without detection. And so, I hope that what comes out of this is people – you know, lots of crime is prevented because a non-law enforcement officer says something. The weapons and whether or not it was altered to become fully automatic and the premeditation of picking a certain hotel room. I think we’re going to find someone along the way was suspicious they should have turned that suspicion into a phone call to law enforcement. It’s an incredible amount of premeditation to not go detected.”

It sounds like he is telling people to be vigilant.

How is this hard to believe?

Terrified woman celebrating 21st birthday says a woman came up to her (them) and warned they would be killed. But, but, but, no conspiracy of course...

I think the guy had help - modifying those weapons he used. No military background, no history of hunting. Mass amount of weapons at the hotel and his home. Bomb making materials found.

Yeah, he wasn't alone in this. He might have been the only person pulling the trigger the other night but his lack of weaponry history just doesn't add up.

He checked into the hotel using his wife's ID and credit card, so at a minimum the front desk should have thought twice. Interview the idiot that checked him in.

As for the rest, if you've ever stayed at a casino hotel, you'd know it's pretty much chaos. You can walk into those places with the worst intentions and no one would know until it's too late.

I think he's right that there almost certainly had to be assistance

No one walked that gear through the front door in a bag

It could be done. Depends on the type of bags and how long he was in the hotel. I'm sure surveillance video will cause some people to overreact but some guy making several trips with lots of stuff to his room wouldn't draw a lot of attention at the time.

Honestly, I can't imagine being of a mindset of worrying when I see a guy packing a half dozen or more suitcases to a room. These stories always have a "if I had known what I know now" component, but at the time really aren't suspicious.

I kind of agree with this...a tripod, 23 weapons, 10 of which are belt Fed machine guns...
But someone noticed...and a few of the people that noticed said they saw multiple people in tac gear...

It won't be long until we have video released of a lone gunman hauling it up stairs...doesnt take long to crank it out

The wife worked in the casino industry for a while. He was a well known gambler.. I'm sure he has made friends in the business as well. It's not too far out there to think someone on the inside helped out.

I think it was at a presser last night that I heard platforms were actually constructed to shoot from in the rooms in order to have a more downward angle to inflict more harm, according to hat this person said.

If true, that's some heavy arse planning by someone. Was this guy capable of all this military type tactics? His history just doesn't support it imo.

Possibly unknowingly. Still, why the lack of information about the shooter?

When has a 64 year old well off white man ever been profiled for anything besides child pornography or being a serial killer. If 95% of us saw this guy in public we wouldn't think anything about him. He avoided detection because he didn't fit the so called profile

No reason to be suspicious of someone in vegas with lots of bags, even bag with gear. You know how many pornos are filmed in vegas hotel rooms?
Neither do I. But I'm sure it's a lot.

I think what you meant to write there was "the history I know about him inside of 48 Hours based upon third-hand reports from people that may or may not know enough to be speaking on it doesn't support it"

Possibly, but what about housekeeping? Did he just keep the maids away? The guy had close to a dozen weapons and thousands of rounds of ammo in the room. Where was he hiding all that stuff?

My guess is he had people delivering that stuff to his room a piece at a time. Surveillance video should tell a lot about whether other people were visiting his room on Saturday and Sunday.
