Transgender bathrooms -- E tu, Texas?

Seriously, if someone I voted for to assume public office as a lawmaker is wasting his time (any my money) making laws about what fricking bathroom people should use or not use, he should just go the frick home, he will not get my vote again.

Even though I think transgendered people are insane and sexual predators, I also think this was a waste of time. But it hasn't passed yet.
But the governor called a special session for this and other crap, while ignoring the multitude of game rooms that are popping up all over Texas, with law enforcement unable to do much because the laws are so weak with low fines.
These game rooms are not paying taxes and are havens for stolen merchandise, prostitution and drugs.
The Legislature could have easily done something about this, but ignored it.
But the governor called a special session for this and other crap, while ignoring the multitude of game rooms that are popping up all over Texas, with law enforcement unable to do much because the laws are so weak with low fines.
These game rooms are not paying taxes and are havens for stolen merchandise, prostitution and drugs.

Too many businesses threatening to pull out of Texas without passing this bill. Will be interesting to see how the state works around the obvious issues this will cause with the voter base.

Pretty sure a few in Odessa are raided on a monthly basis. Although I feel like you're about to start complaining there might be prostitution occurring at the strip clubs.

Serious question.
Where do transgender people go to the bathroom in Texas now?
Why not just use the bathroom that matches your appearance? If gender is a social construct... No one would be the wiser if someone that appears like an ugly female is using a ladies' stall. If they are whipping it out, they are already breaking the law.

That said, patents like this suck. If your 10 year old child is in tears over this bill, then you've got parenting issues.
