If I'm on the jury, I'd acquit.

He would probably kill a few of them and then get killed

I wouldn't prosecute/convinct a store owner or anyone else that shot those animals.

What items were they getting for justice?

No jury would convict unless it was in an ultra-liberal city like Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco or Seattle.

Immediate acquittal for me. Those wild animals need to be put down.

This would come down to a jury.
You'd have a pretty tough time getting 12 people to fail to acknowledge that, during a riot, the shooter didn't feel reasonably threatened.

They would scatter like the roaches they are when a light is turned on. They are cowards.

Wrong, a competent person with the right weapon, would only need to put the first varmint down, and the rest would run like the cowardly filth trash, that they are.

Not gonna happen because the store owner is probably a law abiding citizen and would not own an AR or at least high capacity magazines in NYC...

I think in a store front situation like that, some other type of first line defense might be better. Like maybe sprinklers that will soak the area, then hit a switch that sends 240 volts. Then shoot them.

You can’t use deadly force to solely protect property.. Literally someone needs to be attacking you physically before you can use deadly force.
