I found the answer about the 120 day review. It hasn't proceeded because the judge in Hawaii blocked the administration from moving forward with the review. LINK

And they were quoting previous precedent there. Long known, long established precedent.

That the 9th and other judges just conveniently completely ignored.

The ban itself, is really immaterial to me. To me, it's protecting our country through the actions of The President based on intelligence, not on feelings.

The ban itself didn't matter to the liberal morons either. They simply use this as another excuse to try to mitigate Trump winning the election.

I'm so sick of it.

Does this set precedent that Trump can do any travel ban he wants?

Semi-related topic...

Will this shite show help Trump push for a split of the Ninth Circus into two or three separate circuits?

The circus makes up about 20% of the US population while no other circuit covers more than about 10%. In fact many circuits covers about 6%.

If this is a 90 day ban and more than 90 days has passed since first signed by Trump, isn't this too little too late? If it's a 90 day ban,but won't be heard by SCOTUS till October, what's the point?

Because it never went into effect, so the clock starts now

And it can be re-written or extended, and it wont be challenged, knowing that SCOTUS is already reviewing it

It is just a part of the sore loser lefties' RESISTANCE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

I noticed this morning CBS and ABC said almost nothing about the ruling.

Most of them have to wait on talking points to be pushed out before they will have anything to say.

Well written opinion. However I'm concerned that it leaves a very wide open door for most to enter the u.s. The exceptions listed such as to live with a family member, attend school, or to work for an American company still allows (I suspect) the vast majority of those seeking to enter. It's not hard to find a fourth cousin or a sympathetic community college.

Im not sure this is as big a win as was hoped for

Meh, only a few people will be able to come to the USA.

I'm getting a big laugh because the final ruling won't come until October but the travel ban is only for 90 days.

This is the watered down EO, not the first one.
