Jefferson and EBR are larger than Orleans. And EBR will have District 6 runoff.
Mary won Jefferson by 6000 and EBR by 19000

I think Landrieu will have a harder time getting her supporters back out than the people who are pissed off at her and want her out.

I hope you are right.

And Orleans always produces the exact amount of voter turnout it needs on election night. Usual waits until the entire state submits its totals then the totals from Orleans roll in.....book it. Mary is back. Rookies.

It kinda do matter unless the R's can get to 60.

With 17,000 going to Maness in Jefferson and 11,500 in EBR

So that's a -2,500

Thanks.

Interesting that Cassidy won St Tammany by 18,000.

Landrieu's always done well there with establishment GOP.

Don't forget the impact that St. Tammany now has in the State. This is a HUGE block of Republican votes that really diminish Orleans Parish's influence by 1/2.

She led the pack tonight 42% to Cassidy 40%. She won Orleans by 76,000 votes over both GOP candidates.

And Maness was within ~5,000 votes of Mary in St. Tammany.

So she's now down over 35,000 votes in Jefferson, EBR, and St. Tammany. That's 3 of the 5 largest parishes.
