I know most of the people hate this idea, but I actually think it would be fantastic.
Now that they are Skyping they should allow a HS or Middle School reporter ask a question. To me it gets kids involved and makes them feel wanted.
Yes, you may get the stupidest question, but have we not heard what the Washington Press Pool asks sometimes?

Maybe they can have Happy Hour on questions?
As to answer KF, I bet you are correct with scripting. But I think if you can get some of the kids at least involved and excited it would be jump start in overhauling the press and could revitalize the press.
As much as I despise the MSM right now, it is needed and a healthy press corps with people from all backgrounds and thoughts should be encouraged.
