Meh there was hardly any violence in the women's marches (goldennugget excluded). There wasnt a single arrest in the DC Women's March.

and they still have power in the primaries. Hillary benefited greatly from strong showings in the deep south against sanders.
Blacks in the south are going to be a thorn in the side of democrats who wish to steer the party in a more liberal direction.

And the independents

This is what will cause the black voters tonswitch to trump. Most black people are Christians and when they see that Trump is actually trying to help the black community they will disassociate with these freaks on the left.

Nah, just a reporter getting assaulted on video.

There are plenty of issues to be skeptical about and yet they choose outright lies and fantasies
This! So much this! Trump is like a freaking punching bag. There are so many things to hit him with, so many wrong things he says, so many unconservative things he proposes, yet they just hurl insults. They say he's a racist and a bigot who hates children and wants to put gays in camps.
Why not criticize him for being a spendthrift? How about challenging the soundness of eliminating federal departments? Critique his tax plan? Foreign policy? Endless flip/flopping?
No, they focus on lies, "racist memes", purposefully misconstruing statements, and idiotic social issues. The fact that they lie so often and so egregiously, that he attracts so many of my enemies to oppose him so vehimently, causes me to root for him.
Why? Because the people I hate hate him even more than I do.

Goddammit so much this
I can't stand Trump, but I find myself defending him constantly with my liberal friends because they choose the most retarded things to criticize
I hate that they are causing me to do this

I find myself defending common sense and rational thought, which makes it much easier.

You're one of the few I reserved a spot on the train for.

Just saw a video from DC where protesters surrounded a bus and smashed the front window. Probably bussed in protesters being protested by fellow protesters.

As long as that train doesn't drop me off at the "showers", I guess I have no choice but to ride it for the next 4 years.
However, i will continue to keep a critical eye. The boot of big government feels just as intolerable on the throats of all those dying for liberty whether that boot is clothed in red or blue. As Trump said at the end of his speech, "we all bleed the same red of patriots."
I hope for the best, expect the worst, and will simply keep an open mind and open ears and eyes.

WE ALL NEED TO DO THIS, REGARDLESS OF THE LUNATIC LEFT. Then we need to remember the lunatic left and vote against them again for the next several elections. The tide must swing back to normalcy.

Jesus Christ, are you this stupid? Their Democrat overlords told the police not to arrest anyone... like in Austin.
I was surprised about Dallas, they started marching in Oak Cliff and as soon as they got in the street, the police made five arrests. They got back on the sidewalk and the protest fizzled out soon thereafter.

To the whiny left: You are galvanizing the right
The right was fractured this election season. True small government types (myself included) were turned off by Trump. I accepted his nomination and eventual election with the determination that I would wipe the slate clean and judge him only by his actions going forward, with a skeptical eye.
But damned if you stinky, violent, trashy whiny sons of bitches haven't begun to rally me behind him in spite of myself.
Congratulations?
quote:Irony.
You could have taken a que from those of us on the other side who weren't thrilled with Trump and shut the frick up while keeping a skeptical eye on his actions as president. Instead you went full retard-tantrum like your mom was dating him and now you've started to galvanize the right against your adolescent emotional stupidity.

Yes. This. Here.

You have a point, but their behavior isn't an excuse to not do our jobs and hold his feet to the fire. He has set himself up to be really, really good. I'll believe it when I see it though.
