If I had been there the headline would have said 4, that I can tell you!

It really is. I show up thinking maybe I'll just rub a little on the gums. Twelve lines later, I'm arguing about sea monsters and demon sword fighting tactics.

None of this will really matter because anyone conversing on this board won't live to see significant changes in the social dynamic or paradigm of which we live.
Maybe not, but our technology is steadily advancing and some would say our technology advancements are accelerating, this alone could have seismic consequences in just a few decades.

Windows 7 is a very stable operating system that is more user friendly and more easily customizable than 8 or 10 in a lot of ways. I can understand hating on people still using xp, but 7 is a good OS.

But I find it hard to believe that 'aliens' somehow ended up with the exact same physiology as humans, except for the number and length of its phalanges.
I find it hard to believe someone would use that rationale to debunk the possibility this could be an alien mummy.

This thread is entertaining. But, put me in down in the hoax category.

What the hell is that scantron showing?

I find it more interesting that this "mummy" is in the traditional folklore way we see "aliens". I would consider the possibility that they look just like us over the creation of Hollywood.

I don't just believe massive sea serpents exist.
I know massive sea serpents exist.
Too bad that I know something you don't know.
This is why I browse PT. This is very much my shite

The Arecibo message is a 1974 interstellar radio message carrying basic information about humanity and Earth sent to globular star cluster M13 in the hope that extraterrestrial intelligence might receive and decipher it. The message was broadcast into space a single time via frequency modulated radio waves at a ceremony to mark the remodeling of the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico on 16 November 1974.[1] The message was aimed at the current location of M13 some 25,000 light years away because M13 was a large and close collection of stars that was available in the sky at the time and place of the ceremony.[2] The message consisted of 1,679 binary digits, approximately 210 bytes, transmitted at a frequency of 2,380 MHz and modulated by shifting the frequency by 10 Hz, with a power of 1,000 kW. The "ones" and "zeros" were transmitted by frequency shifting at the rate of 10 bits per second. The total broadcast was less than three minutes.[1][3]
The cardinality of 1,679 was chosen because it is a semiprime (the product of two prime numbers), to be arranged rectangularly as 73 rows by 23 columns. The alternative arrangement, 23 rows by 73 columns, produces jumbled nonsense (as do all other X/Y formats). The message forms the image shown on the right, or its inverse, when translated into graphics, characters and spaces.[4]
Dr. Frank Drake, then at Cornell University and creator of the Drake equation, wrote the message with help from Carl Sagan, among others.[1] The message consists of seven parts that encode the following (from the top down):[4]
The numbers one (1) to ten (10) (white)
The atomic numbers of the elements hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and phosphorus, which make up deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) (purple)
The formulas for the sugars and bases in the nucleotides of DNA (green)
The number of nucleotides in DNA, and a graphic of the double helix structure of DNA (white & blue)
A graphic figure of a human, the dimension (physical height) of an average man, and the human population of Earth (red, blue/white, & white respectively)
A graphic of the Solar System indicating which of the planets the message is coming from (yellow)
A graphic of the Arecibo radio telescope and the dimension (the physical diameter) of the transmitting antenna dish (purple, white, & blue)
Since it will take nearly 25,000 years for the message to reach its intended destination (and an additional 25,000 years for any reply), the Arecibo message is viewed as a demonstration of human technological achievement, versus a real attempt to enter into a conversation with extraterrestrials. In fact, the core of M13, to which the message was aimed, will no longer be in that location when the message arrives.[1] However, as the proper motion of M13 is small, the message will still arrive near the center of the cluster.[5] According to the Cornell News press release of November 12, 1999, the real purpose of the message was not to make contact but to demonstrate the capabilities of newly installed equipment.[1]

What is posted above by Coach Don is the:
Arecibo answer
The "Arecibo answer" is a crop circle (well, crop rectangle, to be accurate) that is purported to be a response to the "Arecibo message", a piece of coded information about Earth and humanity which was first beamed into space in 1974.[1] It appeared in 2001 near the Chilbolton radio telescope in Hampshire, UK. Despite the fact crop circles are known to be hoaxes, people still believe that this is key evidence of extraterrestrial presence on Earth.[2]

Major Announcement on the Peruvian Three-Fingered, Possibly Alien Mummies
Paul Seaburn
November 22, 2018
quote:
DNA tests of the mummies show no relationship to any known human or animal The bones of the mummies are hollow but rigid, similar to the structure of bird bones. There is visible wear at the joints between the bones which indicates that the beings were of advanced age and that they were actually alive – in other words, the mummies were not assembled from various parts.
3D scans of the insides of the mummies show that the bones, organs, muscles, fat, fat and possible eggs are in the proper locations for the creatures to have been living beings.
The data does not match any known species, making it highly likely that these are an unknown species with an evolutionary path separate from humans.
