I really don't have any concern that they have the capability to hit the continental US.

What really scares me about them is if they get desperate and decide to start selling nuclear material to ISIS or some other radical Islamic terrorist group that will enable them to detonate a "dirty" bomb in a western metropolis. Last thing we need is some hadji screaming Allah Ackbar as he detonates himself with a nuclear payload.

This folks is another reason why that regime poses a threat to our interests and must be squeezed to death either economically or militarily.

The powers that be better be montioring what that bastard is doing with his nuclear material.

There used to be a lot of talk regarding "dirty bombs". Seems to have been played down in the last few years.

I apologize for being uneducated on the topic, but is the NK military that powerful. Secondly, is the SK military that weak, or just nonexistent due to the US and China protecting them.

What should scare you is that the DPRK have a satellite, potentially with a nuclear bomb on it that will pass NE North America on 17 April...

If they last that long they can drop one on us from space

The 150,000 Chicoms waiting on the North's border says they are waiting on test. That test will provoke a US first strike with a Chicom invasion. If China wants to deal with those people, I guess it is better than what they were dealing with.

I don't believe North Korea could move something like that out of their hermit nation without drawing the attention of United States Intelligence.

Can't it out through the south for obvious reasons and China would never take that big of a risk. Plus we're monitoring every single one of their test sites. I don't think there is anyway they would be able to transport one out of the country

1. No, they aren't

2. No, members of RoK citizenry are trained soldiers, as well as a hundred thousand standing troops or so...

The south would regretfully fight their Northern brothers

Not to mention STRATCOM is no doubt watching it and would have it blown out of the sky before it ever reached the lower atmosphere.

Even if NK had the technology to launch an ICBM, we have a myriad of ground based interceptors that would take them out of the sky. They were purpose built just for a hypothetical NK attack.

Impossible!!! The greatest leader personally put that satellite in orbit! Probably the only reason the poor U.S. has snow coffee and birds to eat Tuesday!

What scares me is Lil Kim throwing a tantrum and nuking South Korea or Japan and we get suckered into a nuclear conflict.
