All that happens is that the house managers get with a democratic senator to fashion a question that gives them a chance to put on additional evidence....or to hit the repubs. And vice versa. It's under the guise of unattached 3rd parties asking questions, but the shite is clearly coordinated. (They even have slides responsive to questions.) What's the point of this garbage?

The whole thing is a farce. It’s like they’re having a serious discussion over a big pile of shite.

political theater because there is no factual evidence of anything the democrats have claimed.

This is what happened in the Clinton impeachment too. Need to move on to the witness vote.

I stopped listening. It’s like hearing the opening presentations all over again in question format.

It's not really a Q&A, the questions were submitted far enough in advance for a rehashing of presentations already presented.

Gives the Dems 2 more days to cook up testimony.

the "house managers" are actually reading prepared answers for these "questions" the farce is complete

It feels like a game show. All that's missing are the wonderful and exciting parting gifts.

No matter how many times you repeat that lie it still is not true

Roberts should have accepted questions until noon today, then put the trial on recess until Monday, and given all the questions to both sides to prepare answers as appropriate, then Monday, Roberts or some clerk can read all the questions and answers into the record.
