This move gave Trump some incremental credibility

Outside of his base and voters, much of the world has looked upon the Trump election with some form of fear, amusement, and awe. Obviously he faced a "Resist!!!" movement here domestically, including in Congress.
Now you are seeing resounding support from much of the international community, including our allies. And from the way things appear, this is significantly different from 2013, in which a large-scale strike could have toppled Assad and created a power vacuum.
Given how limited and narrowly focused this was, seems like a solid decision and one that immediately gives TRUMP more credibility.
This #OccasionallyTrump guy is impressed!

He handled an international crisis in a way that majority of people see as reasonable. I'd rather stay the hell out but as the trump campaign liked to remind everyone you can't always get what you want

US Marines did their job yesterday. Navy being a part of the marine Corp for those that didn't know this.
