We have one of the classic "Keep the black man" downers. I ripped into him last week over it. He makes almost 40 dollars an hour and is upper middle class yet he bitches. I couldn't take it anymore and let him have it.

"Four sources close to the group told Politico the lawmakers will reject a meeting with the president, noting they don't believe the Trump administration has done anything to support the priorities of the group."
So they're going to pass on a meeting with the president in which he wants to discuss their needs because he hasn't done anything to address their needs.
Dems are so hell bent on undermining Trump that they are willing to pass up the opportunity for him to do anything helpful on their behalf.

It's just crazy. When you sit in the Oval Office, the entire world is on the table. It only matters how good of a negotiator you are at that point. How in the hell can someone just pass on it??

I completely agree. Any progress they see at the hands of Trump is counterproductive to their real goals.

Perhaps you should expand your social circle. The numbers may be few, but not everyone is scared to go off script.
Unfortunately, the community doesn't encourage independent thinking & always dangle the Uncle Tom label at dissenters. Many feel the only way their "vote can be heard" is thru weighted tribalism. No other race does this to that extreme extent #s wise
