Kind of confused. If the wrestler has "identified" as a male and is on testosterone therapy, why isn't he wrestling in the boys' division?

Was wondering that also. Kept referring to him as "male"
in the article.

Yeah I think he's female-to-male. And on hormone replacement for over a year, so probably a good bit stronger than a female of similar weight.

Parents should leave the politics out of it and just protest that. Make him wrestle the boys.

By them allowing him/her to compete while taking enhancements they have opened pandora's box to every high school athlete in Texas to have a legit case of taking them...

I would be furious is my Daughter was placed into this situation. What kind of message are we sending to our kids who are normal and trying to do the right thing in life.

This person self identifies as a male so "he" should have been competing in the men's competition here he would have gotten his arse kicked.

There was an Olympic athelete who was allowed to compete as a woman in track and field. He smoked the women in the event. It was bullshite. I watched the event. You could see the disgust on the competitors faces.

If a male was taking testosterone would he be able to compete or is that a performance enhancement drug he he would be disqualified?

Also, it says he would prefer to compete against other boys but isn't allowed.

Most often the problem is not with the kids;it's with the b'crats that are the truly sick ones...and they are running the show!

Because it's a girl on steroids. Despite crazy people indulging other crazy people's delusions, that's not the same thing as a boy - at all.

But, it does give her quite the advantage against other girls.

You see, if I "identify" as a billionaire when I travel, I still get treated like some broke-arse schmo from Louisiana. The world is a far different reality than these folks want to pretend it is.

Because "he" was born a female. So they are making "him" wrestle as a girl.

So women will begin to take prescription testosterone therapy to get an advantage on women that don't. It seems like it has been going on in women's softball and basketball for years.

Because she is a girl... a girl on testosterone. Should be barred due to PEDs. Is not barred because of PC culture.

It is what it is and it is not like many of us weren't warning this would happen.

This meet is going on just miles from my house. I am not defending the decision to make him compete as a woman. He advanced this far because some girls refused to wrestle him.

But the dilemma society has is this: we say that you must use the bathroom which matches your biological gender. But then we complain when the same judgment is handed down for this competition. He is competing with girls because that is his biological gender. However, the testosterone therapy could be used as the out here to prevent it.

It is just a weird time. No doubt about that.

Tracking. But it's unfair to other girls because this particular girl, who identifies as male, is on hormone treatment (testosterone) that's allowing her body to develop strength and musculature much more quickly and efficiently than the other girls can. If she identifies as male and is recognized as such and given male hormones, she should wrestle with the males.

It is not the same judgment at all. She is a girl. She is taking testosterone. She should be in the girl's division and ineligible because of PEDs.

What's complicated about it, other than PC culture?
