Polls are meaningless bullshite, but I’d be hard pressed to find someone who would say, “yeah things are going swimmingly!”

Dems tend to vote in lockstep and support their own almost without question. That might be what you’re seeing a reflection of here. Remember that they’re roughly 40% of the voters.
What these numbers could mean is that he’s hitting his bottom. Independent voters are turning away and that could mean they’re considering Trump again or end up saying “frick this” and sitting it out in 2024.

Replace liberals with elites and you are over the target. The people who think he is doing a wonderful job are the people who are not affected by the job he is doing. They have comfy high six figure or seven figure jobs, live in gated communities or have their own private security, and have maids and butlers buy their food and clothes for them. They also live in a social bubble where everyone they interact with shares the same traits.
