My argument is, like so many in our society, the fault is always with the man, never the woman. It's simply not true, both screwed up in this case, the woman included.
And again, my argument is people are trying to act like she was 14, 15 or 16, not true. She's at least 22 if not 23. I think we all know that's a HUGE difference.

I think you mean bad sportsmanship.
I would agree that he made an innocent mistake except for the history between Walton and Fagan and because of her sisters' situation with Walton.
He could not possibly be unaware. According to the OPs general argument, he should never have taken his eyes off of her, lest she stab him or something.
