I do believe in the old saying "sometimes the quickest way to heaven is straight through hell." Lets put that to the test, lets create some anarchy. After everything is destroyed maybe common sense and decency will start to rise again like a phoenix and then we can actually start to put this country together. Sadly I believe that might be the only way to actually save this country in the long term.

I wish I had the religion excuse, lol. Simply never happened. Funny, if you look at Steve Carrell's explanation of himself in that movie it's very similar to mine. Tried it in high school, got laughed at as being a loner and never got anywhere. Probably could've done it with 2 really overweight girls but just couldn't get myself to do it.
Went to college, still just never happened. Again had a chance with an overweight girl, just couldn't do it, the very thought was pretty repulsive to me. Didn't help I was living at home with my parents to save money and not in a dorm or at a fraternity (which if I had joined my dad would not have paid for my college, he hates fraternities). After college I really became aware of it and because of that I think it always made me nervous on dates and that made it REALLY not happen. And like Steve Carrell said, at some point I simply stopped trying.
The only difference between me and that character is that I don't have a half million dollar collection of toys and action figures in my house, lol. I also went from that phase to an anger phase where I began my way towards MGTOW. That's how I got to that.
I guess you could say I went through difference phases, nervousness, desperation, acceptance and then anger, lol.

Part of me wouldn't mind it, yeah. But one thing I've learned is that MGTOW and MRA's are ridiculously outnumbered. I couldn't do it by myself and I don't have the desire to try to develop and lead some men's revolution.

You don't have to be MGTOW or lead a revolution. Just accept the natural state of things, read some Dostoevsky or Sartre, and remember this: NO LONELINESS IS AS MISERABLE AS THE MISERY A WOMAN CAN BRING.

Haha I do agree with you PoundFoolish. I won't lie, I do get pretty lonely at times. With that said I'd so much rather be in my position than with a woman I couldn't stand. While I am by no means rich at all or even that successful I know there are plenty of guys who would absolutely love to be where I am right now. That helps fight the loneliness for sure.

And while personality is the most important I think you would agree you actually have to be attracted to the woman. Personality should be the most important but I wasn't trying to imply that looks don't matter. I was simply saying looks shouldn't be the ONLY thing that matters.
I realize I could've worded it better but I think you should now understand what I meant. I'm not some guy who has crazy unrealistic standards but going into bed with a woman who could crush me is not my idea of a good time, lol.
