The only way wet and dry bulb temps are the same is if you have 100% humidity.
I think those of us in Louisiana are pretty used to this.

Another shot across the bow of sanity!

Spent many a summers at my Granny's house listening to the attic fan whir and watching the curtains pull to the center of the house. No AC but a breeze blowing through sure made a difference.
My maternal grandparents had a huge window fan in the front room that was enclosed on 3 sides by moss with a water drip line attached to each side. Porous enough to not restrict air flow very much but thick enough to soak up water for the evaporation effect.
Grandma used to get up sometimes as early as 4am just to bake biscuits for breakfast and not heat up the house so much. Cold leftovers for supper were not so bad mid July I can attest.

Eh, they once would have... Most do not work outside any longer and are poorly acclimated to the heat and humidity because of AC... Look at the kids, very few even play outside now... Much of this talk of heat killing is the result of the creation of weak people...
Ah true. Well my gen x is fine. Good luck

Thankfully we have HVAC units that control our climate indoors

it’s only a matter of time before the “wet-bulb” effect will kill large numbers of people.
SO...
If I understand you correctly, if the current 'protests' continue, MANY, if not ALL those scum sucking dirtbag 60's wannabees ( ) will be taking dirt naps?!!

It seems this happens every year, something to do with the tilt of the Earth relative to the sun. Some have taken to calling it "Summer".
