These mass shootings are a tool for the left. They're useful for an agenda and they're legitimately pissed off that someone bucked the narrative and stopped this shooting so that they couldn't use it as a furtherance for gun control.

This. They cheer for mass shooters because it fits the narrative. What a bunch of sick SOB's.

I caught some Yahoo article preview that was downplaying his actions and saying how miniscule the numbers of someone carrying while a shooting was in progress were. Anything to discredit the guy with actually eliminating the threat for greater damage.

This would be more prevalent if the news didn't belittle gun owners so often.

I'm not sure how you effectively use a gun with that man rounds in the clip.
Me, either, but I saw it in a movie once and thought it was cool, so I saved the link.

They're also using incomplete and outdated data to push that BS.

I posted this earlier, but one thing that stands out to me is the reversal in numbers from police and bystander regarding armed versus unarmed confrontation with the attacker. This should spell out very clearly the best way to deal with these attackers.

The hero’s real crime to them was limiting their ability to push gun grabbing with this incident because not enough people were killed. That’s why they’re upset with him.

no practical purpose, but still pretty cool.

I think most people who conceal carry take the position that your weapon is concealed so you carry it wherever you want to unless metal detectors are in use. The only time it will not be concealed will be when it's used against a threat as here. If it saves a life then you don't give a shite that you carried into a prohibited location.

Well, most of these types are well on the way to Moronville, so it is an honest and reasonably fair mistake.

Hollywood is somewhat responsible for this. It is the primary source of firearms "information" the left uses, along with an equally (if not worse) ignorant MSM.

Let's talk about ammo weight: Rifle ammo that is commonly issued to military personnel weighs a little under half an ounce. "A thousand" such rounds weighs around 25 pounds. That's 3 to 4 times the weight of the weapon. Weapon, plus magazine, plus 1000 rounds would be in the mid-30 pound range.

Ludicrous.

(ETA: Hank, I think the contraption you posted weighs 4 to 5 pounds loaded.)

one of the best i saw earlier was them trying to say stopping a shooter is rare so we dont need guns. Well so are mass shooters with rifles.

Indiana Code §35-43-2-2. As I recall, subsection (c)(2) addresses signage.

Yeah, it looks damned heavy.

At that point, I think you want a rifle, just for the balance.

No, I meant the first one. The first pic you posted is the AR-15 one and it does hold 100 rounds.

The pistol version is a (certainly smaller and lighter, although not much) very similar design, though.

First time I've watched a clip of The View since I can remember. I kept wondering why these peoples' opinions matter, other than they have an audience of who knows how many.

I wish people would pay more attention to who they listen to and why their opinions matter.

The guy with a rifle couldn't locate and take Dicken down?

The View are idiots and I can't understand their logic or lack their of.
